Making Good Things Happen for Generations

This industry-leading recycling program is just one more way Merial is making good things happen. Since its inception, our Jug Recycling Program has diverted over 10 tons of plastic from landfills – and paid out over $160,000 in refunds and donations.

Merial's recycling program pays producers to return empty 2.5 L, 5 L and 20 L IVOMEC^® and EPRINEX^® Pour-On containers. Many producers donate their jugs or refunds to local 4-H clubs. Recycled containers are shredded and used by a Canadian manufacturer to make molded plastic fence posts that are used on farms across the country. Recycling is environmentally responsible, and rewarding for Merial Canada customers.

Merial Canada will refund by mail $2.00 for 2.5 L containers, $3.00 for 5 L containers and $12.50 for 20 L containers. Earn money for your club activities by collecting containers from producers in your area.
