4-H BOXBACK PROGRAM FAQs
Here are answers to common questions about the
IVOMEC® & EPRINEX® 4-H BoxBack Program:
Q: What sizes of IVOMEC and EPRINEX Pour-On boxes are eligible for the $10 donation from Merial?
A: The following sizes of product are eligible for the BoxBack Program:
| PRODUCT | SIZE |
| IVOMEC Pour-On |
2.5 Litre |
| IVOMEC Pour-On | 5 Litre |
| IVOMEC Pour-On |
20 Litre |
| EPRINEX Pour-On | 2.5 Litre |
| EPRINEX Pour-On |
5 Litre |
Q: Can I send in any boxes of IVOMEC and/or EPRINEX Pour-On as long as they are for the specified sizes?
A: To be eligible for the $10 donation to your 4-H club, the boxes must be from IVOMEC Pour-On and EPRINEX Pour-On purchased this season for treatment in Fall 2011 and/or Winter 2012. The Lot Number and Expiry Date on the packaging allows us to verify this - and must be included on the box labels sent in to Merial.
Q: Is there a limit on how many box labels I can send in?
A: No, there is no limit. You may send in as many eligible IVOMEC Pour-On and/or EPRINEX Pour-On labels as you like - as often as you wish. All submissions must be postmarked no later than February 29, 2012. Every time you send in box labels, you must include an official submission form that is fully completed with all the required information.

Q: Do I have to cut the labels out of the box?
A: Yes - and it's important that you cut out the correct part of the box label. To be eligible, the white square on the box that includes the Lot Number and Expiry Date information must be included, along with the Merial logo, the product size (e.g. 2.5 Litres), and a portion of the Merial cattle head logo. Click here for diagrams showing the areas of the label you must cut from the 2.5 L, 5 L, and 20 L boxes.
NOTE: On IVOMEC Pour-On boxes, the Lot Number and Expiry Date are on the English side of the box. The Lot Number and Expiry Date are on the French side of the EPRINEX Pour-On box.
Q: Will you accept photocopies or facsimilies of box labels?
A: Unfortunately, not. To be eligible, we must receive the actual labels from eligible boxes.
Q: Is it okay to send in a box from a jug of IVOMEC or EPRINEX Pour-On that isn't empty?
A: For product integrity, IVOMEC Pour and EPRINEX Pour-On should always be stored in their original carton until all the product has been used. That's why we extended the date of the 4-H BoxBack Program to February 29th, 2012 – the end of the typical fall/winter treatment timeframe.
Q: When will my 4-H club get a cheque for the box labels that I submit?
A: In mid-March, we will tally up all the box labels that we received from you, and confirm their eligibility. From that final total, we will issue a cheque, payable to your 4-H club. A voucher attached to the cheque will indicate your name to ensure that your 4-H Leader knows how much money you helped raise for the club.
Q: Can our 4-H Club work together to collect and submit box labels?
A: Absolutely. At Merial, we want the IVOMEC & EPRINEX 4-H BoxBack Program to benefit as many 4-H clubs as much as possible. So be creative, canvass the producers in your area, get permission to put up BoxBack posters in your local Veterinarian's offices and IVOMEC retailers - and collect as many eligible boxes as you can. Work together - or have a competition to see which club member can collect the most box labels. Either way, your 4-H club wins.
